Community Partners

The Summer Fund fosters collaboration among youth-serving organizations in an effort to leverage summer opportunities and engage underserved youth in targeted initiatives designed to promote summer learning, self-esteem building, and leadership and social development skills.

We identify and draw on the expertise of key community partners to deepen our impact and enhance our efforts to build, sustain and strengthen the summer program field as a whole. By leveraging these key partnerships, we are able to provide opportunities, supports and resources to enhance and improve summer programming for at-risk and underserved youth.

Our Impact

The Summer Fund Cultural Day program allows Boston Children’s Museum to fulfill its mission of reaching out to underserved populations of children in the greater Boston area. Without this program, many of these children would never have the opportunity to attend the Museum and to learn and grow from the educational opportunities we offer.
